Entry into force of the EU RED II Directive

Yesterday our company took part in a seminar held by the SBP certification system (Sustainable Biomass Program) entitled "Current events in the EU member states and the role of the RED II directive"

There were speakers from different countries from Denmark, Finland, Belgium, who shared their opinion to the upcoming changes in the field of biomass. The trend is clear to everyone - to make the raw materials for energy generation sustainable, with low anthropogenic impact, with low carbon emissions. Today, there are criteria for evaluating raw materials, enshrined in the RED II directive, but regulators of each of the countries may in the future introduce their own additional tightening criteria for biomass. We continue working and the 2nd workshop which is going to be held in 2 weeks is waiting for us.
